In industrial environments where personnel are prohibited from entering and equipment operates 24 hours a day, traditional fire-fighting measures are gradually revealing their limitations due to their reliance on manual response or the risk of secondary damage. The FM200 automatic fire extinguisher, through the 68℃ precise temperature-sensing glass ball triggering technology and the suspended structure design, has built a fully autonomous fire protection system of "perception - response - fire extinguishing". Its core breakthrough lies in:

Self-sensing and self-starting: Equipped with a 68℃ temperature sensing element, it does not require external power supply or signal input. When the temperature reaches the critical value, the glass bulb automatically breaks, driving nitrogen to release heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) fire extinguishing agent. The entire response time is ≤8 seconds, which is more than 10 times faster than the traditional smoke alarm + manual intervention mode.
Zero residue and non-destructive fire extinguishing: Heptafluoropropane diffuses in gaseous form. After fire extinguishing, there are no solid particles, no liquid residue, and it does not conduct electricity. It is especially suitable for electronic equipment such as servers, PLC control cabinets, and precision instruments, avoiding secondary losses caused by dry powder corrosion or water-based conductivity.

Pain point: The thermal runaway temperature of lithium batteries can reach over 300℃, but early overheating (60-80℃) is the only intervention window. Traditional fire extinguishers require manual approach for operation and pose an explosion risk.
Solution
Suspend the FM200 fire extinguisher from the top of the energy storage cabinet, with the temperature sensor facing the battery cell module directly. When triggered at 68℃, the gas is directly injected into the battery compartment, reducing the oxygen concentration to below 15% within 8 seconds and suppressing the chain reaction of thermal runaway.
It is linked with the BMS system. Once triggered, it automatically cuts off the power supply of the battery pack to prevent re-ignition.
Case: After the FM200 system was deployed in a certain photovoltaic energy storage project, an early fire in a single cabinet was successfully extinguished, avoiding a loss of 20 million yuan for the entire station. Moreover, the battery pack was found to have no performance degradation after testing.
